Director of Cyber Acceleration

CGC is a platform that accelerates compliance with requirements such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP and others.  Once authorized, CGC enables these technology platforms to stay compliant through continuous monitoring and makes these compliant solutions available to end users and partners through a unique cloud marketplace.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Cyber Acceleration to lead a high-performing, cross-functional team. In this pivotal role, you will develop and oversee a multidisciplinary team of compliance experts, engineers, and project managers (PMs) to drive the seamless onboarding of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) onto the CGC platform.

  • Lead a Cross-Functional Team: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-caliber team of compliance specialists, engineers, and PMs, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence to enable the rapid onboarding of ISVs.

    ISV Customer Onboarding: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for ISVs, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

    Pre-Sales Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales organization to vet potential ISV candidates during the pre-sales stage.

    Documentation Ownership: Create, review, and maintain critical ISV-related documentation, including:

    • Security System Plan (SSP) addenda
    • Kickoff guidance materials
    • Boundary diagram frameworks
    • Control and operations alignment guidelines
    • Static code analysis instructions
    • Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) requirements guidance
    • Leadership Expertise: 7+ years of experience leading teams in complex FedRAMP delivery environments, whether in an advisory, assessor, or engineering capacity.
    • Technical Depth: Proven ability to lead engineering teams with deep technical acumen and a comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks.
    • Program Management Mastery: Strong organizational and program management skills, adept at handling simultaneous tasks and rapidly adjusting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees are a plus.
    • Project Management Proficiency: Expertise in Agile and other project management methodologies. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Excel, and Smartsheet is essential.
    • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into accessible insights for diverse stakeholders.
    • Problem-Solving Savvy: Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and deliver effective solutions.
    • Citizenship Requirement: U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the role and associated compliance needs.
