  • Assess the architectural and technical maturity and integrity of potential ISV SaaS partner solutions and own the technical vetting process.
  • Own the technical onboarding of ISV SaaS partners into the Constellation GovCloud environments, working with ISV engineers to deploy and refactor their application as necessary, while subsequently packaging everything as Terraform for production deployment.
  • Support the Director of Cloud Architecture with automation and scripting for both production and pre-production environments.
  • Be responsible for documenting, diagramming and explaining an ISV’s SaaS platform’s architectural elements and capabilities (system boundary, network and data flow diagrams)
  • Obtain appropriate certifications (AWS cloud certifications as an example) for technical and compliance-related professional growth.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct DevOps and automation experience in AWS.
  • Deep experience deploying and operating software in AWS, including AWS GovCloud
  • Expert-level knowledge of Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with additional IAC technologies
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with implementing service mesh technologies on EKS (Istio, for example)
  • Ability to generate detailed architectural diagrams for AWS and other cloud environments utilizing Visio or Lucidchart.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyze, organize and translate complex technical concepts into clear and digestible information.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team on various tasks and identify goals and tasks that are attainable and appropriate for ensuring CGC’s success.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a nationally accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect and other AWS certifications.
  • Prior experience architecting or supporting the deployment of a cloud offering with FedRAMP or DISA/DoD/CMMC compliance requirements.
  • Experience with multiple clouds beyond AWS (OCI, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with OSCAL and emerging technologies that enable compliance automation and orchestration.
